About Lisa Barna:

I am a primary care physician in Newton, MA, a mother of four kids, and a lover of sports (particularly tennis).  My passion is women’s health and preventive health. When I meet with a patient, my goal is to listen as best I can, to form a meaningful connection, and to encourage a healthy lifestyle that best suits him or her. 

 I started Lincoln Health and Aesthetics, LLC in 2018 in order to empower myself as a business owner, expand my scope of expertise, and learn new procedures; it is my aim to help women feel rejuvenated and beautiful at every age.  

I am also the medical director of two med spas.  Part of my role as medical director is to complete trainings and learn about the latest aesthetic procedures.

Aesthetics medicine is not only about wrinkle prevention and reduction but also includes acne treatment and skin rejuvenation. I believe in a conservative approach when consulting with a patient. I try to gauge the scope of treatment offered so one feels comfortable, but also keep in mind one’s budget and aesthetic goals long term. There are many ways we can keep our skin feeling vibrant and youthful.  Botox and filler do not always have to be part of that process.  Microneedling, laser treatments, the right skin care regimen, and a healthy lifestyle offer tremendous benefits to aging skin or acne scarring. My goal is to create a fun, warm, safe environment for patients to obtain the most appropriate individualized aesthetic treatment regimen.
